Wedding Venue
Oh my oh my I just want a venue. So, the tentative date for this wedding is 10-1-11. That is if I am able to find a venue that isn’t booked that day! A friend from highschool is getting married next year as well and ran into my mother earlier in the week. She said she got the last open weekend in September (2011) at American Homestead. Which is one place I was interested in. So I went on a frantic calling spree of the places I would like to get married at. By the way.. the wedding ceremony and reception will be at the same place. (AKA no church)
Cascade Gardens: Booked for 10-1-2011 but the Sunday after is open and so is the Saturday two weeks later. Meeting with then Thursday at 6:15.
Fontaine Estates Winery: Open for that day and offer the day before to set up (yay). Meeting Tuesday at 4:30pm.
Yakima Valley Museum: Rob and I visited the ballroom yesterday and it seems slightly small. Beautiful venue but will be more of a back-up.
Capital Theatre: Has that weekend open but hasn’t booked their season of shows yet, so I could possibly get bumped.. boo.
American homestead did call… but they are already booked for ALL of 2011. Sad. But good news is that Fontaine Estates seems very promising for what I want. Also, I have set myself on my photographer.. I just need to meet up with them next week. It is Stone Castle Photography. Amazing work in my opinion.
All in all I am just wired until I set a venue.. then I will calm down and take a breath.
