My Life.

Tada… it is now starting. Wedding planning can now officially commence in my mind. Today, after one hecktic day at work I signed and secured the wedding venue. The venue is cascade gardens like I mentioned in a recent post but I decided to take pictures of the place to give myself a better perspective on planning.. and so people could see. :) The owner said that I was also super lucky because a couple called two days after I said I would take it wanting that day.. wow how wedding venues in yakima fly! ANYWAY.. on to the virtual tour.

After you pass a little house in the turn in this is what you see. On the right is the green house area that will be hopefully converted into a “just-in-case” indoor ceremony area. On the left side of the picture is the drive way that goes all the way to the back of the property where there is MORE than enough parking.

The next area is like an skeleton of a barn with a couple trees growing up it. This is where I would like the ceremony but due to the # of guests and its weird layout I don’t think that will happen.

Both the greenhouse and the barn are on the right side of the road. So now we go across to the left side of the road aka across the way and here is the Cantina, ceremony site, and the reception area/lodge.

This brick area is the Ceremony area. Next is the outdoor cantina.. mmm drinks.

So the cantina is between the ceremony site and the lodge… so here’s the lodge.

Tons of little quirks about the place with couple more cool areas but I tried to get most of it.. and my personal favorite,the playground for the kids next to the lodge.
