Engagment Photo
So pretty much since the time I got engaged my mom has been on me about getting a decent engagement photo of both of us together. Since I am a cheap-skate, I didn’t want to purchase a whole engagement session with my photographer. Pretty much I just needed one good picture.. not a whole album. So we did it. This morning, even though we didn’t go to sleep till about 4 am, Rob and I tried to look nice and trucked down to the Arboretum with my camera and tripod in tow and took some pictures. I would be setting up the shot with the camera, run into the shot, and take the picture. Review. Try again. It was also great feeling like I was in high school again because about 5-6 girls also were getting senior pictures done too (but they had actual photographers). It was freezing and for some reason we thought iced tea was a good choice but we pulled through. After only about 15-20 minutes of wandering, setting up, and me running back and forth, we finally got a picture both of us liked. AKA one that I didn’t actually look like a just ran, someone’s head wasn’t right, or the lighting was off. In the end I saved money and got the picture for my mom.
