Oh Yakima…

So, I have been home for four days now. I don’t start work til Monday so I have a week of what people would call “relaxation”. OR what I call sheeeeer boredom!  Today I finally got further on my unpacking. I am pretty sure that I only have one whole box of clothes/shoes to put somewhere… anywhere. But here is pretty much how my week has gone.

Sunday: First full day home. Full day of shuffling boxes in and out of the house. Went to breakfast with the grandparents where mom pushed her marriage/ baby agenda. Dad made an assumption of our weekend plans (which you should NEVER do around my mom, expecially when she has something else in mind.) Had a good chat with the grandparents but makes me feel sad for how old and fragile they are both getting. :( ANYWAY! Came home and decided to rummage through my stuff to see what I could donate to the Union Gospel Mission. Found clothes and shoes from 8th grade era and promptly donated those. Stumbled upon old dance photos… eeeehhh what was I thinking when I chose those boys and some of those dresses… oo and the hair… O the hair!

Monday: Mom and I donated some of our stuff we decided to part with (10 years later). Walked around craft warehouse.. man do I love that store! They have such good crafty ideas. Both of these events made me a. Want to volunteer at the mission and B. Do some crafty projects. Both of which are a good long shot due to motivation at the moment. Did some more unpacking and moving around.. pretty sure I took a nap. Met up with philip for a drink and a brag/complain session… mostly me bragging. :)

Tuesday: Slept in, lounged around, and unpacked more clothes. Boredom starts to set in. Nap. Unpack. Haul out boxes. Bored. Decide to make baked french toast for dinner. BOMB! Watched shutter island. Still kind of confused about the ending. Does anyone really know if he was fixed or relapsed? Stupid semi-open-ended movies! But still a nice choice by Rob.

Wednesday: (Today) Made Rob lunch again. (How spoiled is he!) Burned boxes… illegally! Pulled weeds (now you can tell I am bored) and went shopping for dinner. Beef Stroganoff and texas toast. Oh and whipped up a batch of chocolate chip cookies. A.R. Leveled all of my children’s books incase I ever get a job as a teacher and read half of one. Now I am on here realizing that I just told people about my last four days in detail.. no need to stalk… I’ll keep you up to date.

Pretty much I am on dial-up internet right now and barely get online. I feel as if my posts on tumbler with be more sparatic and long winded until I get better internet set up. Oh my, never thought I would want work to start so soon. Until next time!
